Really lovely stay, would highly recommend. This is the first property on the site but is still very private. The enclosed property allowed our dog to roam freely without us worrying, the property itself was spacious and comfortable. No oven meant limit “home cooking” but this isn’t a property built for staying indoors all day. Rhayader is a few minutes drive away and the website says there are local farm-run food deliveries available. The hot tub was great, not needing to pay extra or anything. Would recommend the £10 wood bag, came with everything you need for a fire outside. Great place to stay to visit local places like Elan Valley and the many reserves and walks around nearby.

Vally view is absolutely beautiful with amazing views all around and in a great location! The only slight issues we had was the sofa is really uncomfortable and is full of stains, so much so we couldn’t sit on it and ended up sitting on the bed to watch TV. The hot tub isn’t great, most of the jets don’t work and/or are missing! The first night we arrived we couldn’t use it as the temperature was too low. It was as though you was sat in a large Luke warm bath. Overall we enjoyed our stay, it was the short break that we both needed after a challenging few months.

The valley view garden was secure for our dog who loved playing outside. We also appreciated the parking inside the garden area as this felt very safe. The space was big enough for us three and has everything you need from bedding and towels to pots and pans and washing up supplies. The space was very clean including the hot tub which was really nice. Will note that showering soap is not included so make sure to bring. The only negatives are the left plug near the bed doesn’t work and the radiator in front of the toilet can be hazardous when hot. Gemma responded quickly and was lovely, the cleaner was also really friendly. Overall really enjoyed our stay and for the great price would come again.

Overall, our stay at Valley View was quite enjoyable. The property was impressively clean and well-maintained, and its secluded location provided a sense of privacy that we appreciated. The view from the accommodation was truly stunning, adding to the overall appeal of the stay. However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The check-in time felt a bit late, and the check-out time a bit early, which slightly disrupted our schedule. Additionally, it would have been beneficial to have clearer instructions provided for operating the hob and heater. Furthermore, it would have been helpful if the policy regarding leaving pets unattended had been stated on the advertisement, as we were unaware of this restriction until we arrived, necessitating a change in our plans. Despite these minor issues, our experience at Valley View was positive, and we would consider returning in the future.
