From check in to check out it was unclear what to do. We arrived and no one was there to let us in and we did not receive the code to the door until I sent a message through Air BNB that we were at a restaurant waiting to get in. We weren’t given a clear indication where to park safely either. I asked our host via Air BNB text if he had any recommendations of restaurants nearby and I didn’t get any response. The room was quite comfortable and very clean, but when I went to take a shower in the morning, there was no hot water. When I asked about it, I was told to wait half an hour for it to warm up again. Not too inconvenient but still a bother! There was also only a rickety pull out table to, I think, use to put our luggage on but we didn’t want to chance it and put our suitcases on the floor instead. **The snacks that were provided in the room were very thoughtful and much appreciated! Overall, the accommodations were nice but the communication could be better!

The room was comfortable. The staff were very helpful. The welcome basket was a very nice touch and appreciated.

Leonel's place has a historical look on the outside but don't let that fool you, the rooms are actually very chic and modern. Thank you for the welcome package and the suggestion to use the laundromat 30m away; it was very helpful.
