PLEASE NOTE: This home is a 30 day minimum. There's room for everyone in this recently remodeled Oakland neighborhood home. Fully furnished with living, dining and some of the bedroom furniture from Restoration Hardware. Balconies and lower back yard space with views of Oakland. Piedmont Avenue shops and restaurants and Kaiser Hospital are less than a 10 minute walk. The main floor where you walk in is the living room, dining room, kitchen, small balcony off the kitchen with bbq and outdoor chairs, a small bedroom with queen bed and attached full bath and half guest bath in the hall off the living room. Downstairs is the king primary suite with en suite full bathroom, queen bedroom, kids room with 4 twin beds. One traditional bunk bed, one raised twin with a small slide and a twin thinner mattress underneath for a small child. A second balcony off of the kids room. A full bathroom in between the queen room and kids room. Washer and dryer in the downstairs hallway. The lowest level, reachable by going out the front door and walking down the path on the side of the house has a small gym inside and outside a 6+ person jacuzzi, outdoor TV, outdoor couch and an artificial grass play area.

Bonnie is a great host. Communicates clearly and is very responsive to questions and requests. I was supposed to be in Oakland for over a month for business with 3 other people. Unfortunately, I was not able to enjoy the property as my plans changed just before I was set to check in. However, the people that did stay here loved the place and raved about Bonnie and the home. Bonnie's place is beautiful and very near downtown in a great neighborhood.

My car’s catalytic converter was stolen overnight right in front of the Airbnb. It seemed like a really safe neighborhood to walk around and nice neighborhood but it is still Oakland. You have to be quiet after 9 PM and be inside with all the doors closed because there have been previous noise complaints with other guests. We had no problems with the neighbors. The house was amazingly furnished and had everything you need to have a great stay. A lot of kitchen amenities. Tons of coffee and even breakfast foods provided. Living room, dining room, and all bedrooms were very comfortable. Not the best mattresses but overall well appointed. Hot tub was excellent. Super hot and comfortable. Towels provided for the hot tub too. Overall it was a great stay but a little stressful due to having to be quiet because of the neighbors. Also due to the catalytic converter being stolen. Maybe Uber here instead of bringing your car.
Bonnie was a great host. She was super communicative and helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed before arrival. The photos and description are spot on and the house was perfect. Loved the upgrades and special touches throughout the house. And the views from the back patio were incredible!
We had a wonderful time and really loved the place. Very clean and lots of amenities, no complaints at all I would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely family neighborhood on a hill with with wonderful views. Neighbors on both sides are friendly and help keep a look out for each other. The house is a short walk down hill to Piedmont Avenue where an abundance of gourmet coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, movie theater, yoga studio, rental bikes and Fenton's famous Ice Creamery is there for you to enjoy!
The block in front of the house is 2-hour parking. The owner would park there overnight weeks at a time and not get a ticket. But park at your own risk. There are streets around the corner that are available for free overnight parking but finding a spot may take a little patience. See photo provided.
We provide one parking spot outside parking parallel in front of the owners garage. This spot is guaranteed but at the bottom of the property, a five minute walk back up block to the front door.
I'd recommend unloading all your people and luggage in front of the house and then spend a few minutes parking and walking back.
Once you are at the property, you can walk to everything on Piedmont Avenue.
