What a gem of a place Pearl Beach is. The quiet village, beautiful beach and walks were all in walking distance to Nel's place, we didn't venture far out of Pearl Beach the whole time we were there. The home had everything our family needed - clean, comfy, well thought out and cared for. Especially enjoyed the leafy outlook, uncluttered decor and location. Nel and Sam were considerate and kind hosts, easy to communicate with.

We loved our stay at Nel's place. The lounge room has glass on three sides looking out onto trees and the creek. I could have stayed there the whole long weekend. Very comfortable for us and our two teenagers. Very close to the south (swimming) end of the beach. One of the best places we have stayed in Pearl Beach.

We had a wonderful time and absolutely loved the place. Great location near the beach. We stayed with our young children and my mom. Thank you to the host. We enjoyed every bit of it.

Fantastic long weekend at Pearl Beach. The house was an oasis of peace. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Contained everything we needed. So light and airy. Gorgeous setting. The hosts were so obliging, letting us arrive early and stay late so as to maximise our holiday. We are very grateful. The location is fantastic, walk to and from the beach and Cafe everyday. Can't think of a single negative except how sad we were to leave.

If more Australians understood the value an architect can add to the livability of a home there would be more places to stay at like Nel’s. Unfortunately the great Australian ugliness dominates, which makes this Pearl Beach haven all the more a rare gem. Friendly hosts, delightful space to enjoy this natural setting. If they accepted Pugs it would be perfect for us, if you don’t own a dog it is perfect.
