墨西哥城 · 整套酒店式公寓 · 2室2床2.0卫 · 可住5人 · Nice 2 bdroom Apt. @ Roma Neighborhood
Full furnished apartment on the 4th floor with balconies. It is centrally located and easily accessible. The apartment has everything you need to make things work for you and is a very nice place to enjoy as if it was your home.
David was an excellent host. My wife had a broken leg and David provided a wheelchair and shower seat. He came by on several occasions to show us how things work. The location was terrific, close to great market, grocery store and many different restaurant options. Thanks David for all your kindness.
Our five week stay at David's beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo in Roma Norte was simply outstanding. Not only was the location perfect with lots of restaurants and sights within walking distance, but the condo itself was impeccably equipped with everything we needed for a more than comfortable stay in Mexico City. As avid travelers, being able to explore on foot or by bike is important - and David's condo offered the comforts of home with the adventures of exploration. What truly set this experience apart was David's exceptional responsiveness and empathy. When minor issues arose, he handled them swiftly and with genuine concern for our well-being. His attentiveness made us feel valued and cared for at every point during our stay. If you're looking for a centrally located, well-appointed Airbnb with owners who go above and beyond, look no further. Highly recommended without hesitation.
David and Daniel were the BEST hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our extended stay. The apartment was very comfortable and as represented. Also it is in a very safe, walkable area close to many restaurants and services and the building has a doorman for added security. We would definitely come back.
David’s apartment is beautiful and is in the perfect location. The building is quiet, check-in was very easy, and David was very communicative. There are lots of great restaurants close by and the neighborhood is very walkable. I definitely recommend staying here!
It’s so hard to choose an area to stay in when traveling to a large city you haven’t been to before. David’s location is perfect! We did not attempt to use the metro system because we had limited time and the city is so large. Uber was super easy and affordable. Plenty to see in David’s neighborhood as well. We felt very safe with the attentive and kind doorman. Actually, we felt safer in Mexico City than other big cities we have traveled to. I can not say enough about how amazing Mexico City is. The people are kind and easy going. The museums are incredible and affordable. The Christmas atmosphere is spectacular. At the end of every long and adventurous day, we were so happy to go back to David’s space, away from the hustle and the bustle and enjoy our evenings at “home”. We cooked, relaxed and enjoyed the wonderful views from our balconies. When returning to Mexico City, which we must, we will definitely look to see if David’s condo is available!
The Rome neighborhood is excellent for a walk of up to 1 hour or more if you like to do it. There are many parks nearby, including Parque Mexico, Jardin Lopez Velarde, Jardin Pushkin, Plaza Rio de Janeiro, Plaza la Romita, etc.
There are also nearby shopping plazas, such as Plaza Insurgentes, Pabellon Cuauhtemoc, and Plaza Delta, Plaza 222 (you must take metrobus for this last one.)
There are also many bars, cafes and restaurants everywhere, specifically on Avenida Alvaro Obregon or Plaza Rio de Janeiro. My favorite and closest are: The Parnita on the street of Yucatan, a Japanese called Mikasa on the street of San Luis Potosi, Maximo Bistro on the street of Tonala, The Cadencia on the corner of Tonala and Chiapas, and we are also very close of the Roma Market which is on the street of Queretaro, there you will find several options for a meal and also a good beer. Actually there are many bars nearby that you would like. We are about 10 to 15 minutes drive from the Zona Rosa (pink zone) and La Condesa Neighborhood. They have many options for bars and night clubs for nightlife.
The best and safest way to get around is by taking a UBER. However the public transport is extremely accessible in the area, you can take the Trolleybus which costs 4 pesos mxn, and connects you with several lines in the city and is an easy way to get to the city center.
The Metro stations nearby and with a walk from 10 to 15 minutes maximum, are: Line 3 Green / General Hospital, and Medical Center; Brown Line / Chilpancingo. Metro stations, a little more removed but still within a radius of 20 to 30 minutes walking are: Line 1 Pink / Insurgentes, Seville, and Chapultepec (you must complement with Trolebus or Metrobus if you want to get closer to home and avoid walk so much).
Metrobus: This transportation is the most effective because it leaves you 3 blocks from the house. There are two lines near the department: Line 1 Red, which runs over the whole avenue of insurgents, from green Indians to the south of the city. The station that leaves you in the house is Sonora or Campeche. The other Metrobus line that is nearby is the 3 green. This takes you from the north of the city to the metro station Ethiopia. This line crosses the center of the city and takes you to the area of Vallejo, school zone, etc. The station that leaves you in the house is Dr. Márquez.
Peseros (buses): The peseros can also work but do not know much. I know that you can take one on the Monterrey ave. this one takes you to the Independence Angel and to the Mexicans Celebreties Mall (a type of hollywood walk of fame) for example. That same bus makes a trip to the south of the city and takes you to Coyoacan. This Pesero you can take it on the street of medellin.
In particular if you want to go to Coyoacan you can take this pesero (5 pesos mxn), on the street of medellin corner with coahuila (2 blocks from the Apartment), and on the way back you will be left on the street of Monterrey corner with coahulia , 1 block from the Apt.
If you want to go to the Angel of Independence, take this Pesero in the corner of Monterrey and Coahuila (1 block from the depa). On the way back you can take it on the corner of Seville and Reforma (by the Hotel St. Regis) and it will drop you off at the corner of Medellin and Coahuila (2 blocks from the Apt.).
