Peaceful flat just a 2 min walk from the shops and a 5min stroll from New Eltham train station. Great transport links, with trains taking you into Central London in 20 mins and an excellent bus service that includes a 24-hour bus. Hikers and tree huggers will love the location, right on London's Green Chain Walk with plenty of vast open spaces to explore. This is my main residence, so my belongings are in it, with space available for guests' stuff. The flat is not suitable for toddlers. The flat is on the second floor of a large apartment block in a well-lit area that is safe to walk around at night. There is no lift. It is generally quiet and peaceful but, as with all city apartment blocks, there can be occasional noise from other residents, however, this is rare. There is a lounge, kitchen, one bathroom and two double bedrooms. The rooms are cosy but modern and functional.

Absolutely fabulous weekend stay in the flat, we loved the quiet area and the comfy spotless beds. Cathy said we could use her tea and coffee ( we had our own ) but thought what a nice touch. If you rent this place you won’t be disappointed. We would rent it again in a flash. Next London marathon we do we will be back Thanks so much Cathy

Catherine was a wonderful host; always responsive, generous and very helpful. Her flat was lovely and had everything we needed, it is very well furnished and quite spacious! The bathroom is particularly nice. The location is great, we felt very safe and it was within a short walk to the train station for easy access to central London but there are also amenities, pubs and restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend Catherine’s place to anyone looking for a stay in a peaceful location with plenty to do, but with easy access to Central London.
Fabulous host. Lovely location. Convenient for the train station. Lots of local buses. Lovely cafe around the corner and great other local amenities. Apartment clean and well presented. Lots of excellent equipment and facilities. Would highly recommend and will certainly stay again.

New Eltham is quiet and safe with a village feel. Everything you need is only a few minutes' walk from the flat - the train station and bus stops, a Co-op supermarket open daily till 11pm, convenience stores, pubs, a post office, library, cafes and takeaways offering everything from fish and chips to Japanese food. It's also on London's green chain walk through beautiful parks and woods.
Great public transport links and free parking for one car outside the property - I will give you a parking permit which is returned when you check out.
