We took a family trip to Las Galeras with 3 generations of people, Grandparents, parents (myself, my wife and my siblings), and small children, 3 and 1. Villa Cruz was absolutely perfect for our needs. A cozy and spacious home where everybody had their own space, but where there were also multiple common areas where we could all be together. As parents of small children we greatly appreciated that the house was set up in a that enabled us to kind of compartmentalize where our children could go so we werent needing to chase them everywhere. We could strategically close gates to keep them with us in: front yard by pool (pool also gated off which is a major plus!), outdoor front porch, 1st floor interior etc... The location was a convenient walk to restaurants in town and to beautiful playita beach. Upon our arrival we organized a private transport to Las Galeras and rented a car for a couple days while we were there. We were sorry when it came time to leave and hope to come back!

La casa es tal cual las fotos, un lugar amplio, ideal para grupos familiares. La pasamos súper bien. Definitivamente vale la pena visitar.

WONDERFUL stay at Villa Cruz! Las Galeras itself is a beautiful nature filled paradise. The house is well positioned between La Playita beach and a quick walk to the Main Street for restaurants and shops. We learned that the owners are three siblings — first generation Americans with Dominican parents. You can feel the love that’s been put into the house. As soon as we arrived, we immediately felt very at home. The Villa and its interiors look even better in person plus it has great high speed Wifi and all of the bedrooms have AC (huge plus!). Thank goodness for the full outdoor kitchen and grill next to the pool area (kids’ fav) which was perfect for our gatherings after long days at the beach. Another major plus are the villa’s caretakers, Papa and Fina. They don’t live in the home but in their apt adjacent to the property. They were a huge help with anything we needed and provided us peace of mind. Can’t say enough great things about our stay in Villa Cruz and Las Galeras!
