Location is everything with Matthew’s place. The town is very walkable which we loved and close enough to UGA for attending a campus event or visiting a student. Everything you need is within walking distance…coffeehouse, a variety of restaurants, ice cream and cute shops. The house furnishings are barebones but very clean and uncluttered. Matthew has great communication and we would stay again if in the area.

This home has one of the greatest locations. Literally one road off of Broad Street where everything is located. The home is well maintained and squeaky clean. Beds were super comfortable for all in the home. Plenty of towels, plenty of extra supplies. Would most definitely visit this home again.

We absolutely loved Matthews place! Charming older home. The bedrooms were spacious for our party. Bed were very comfortable. One block off of downtown and we walked to breakfast and dinner. This town has grown tremendously since our last visit and we have “starred” Matthews place for our return. Very happy!
