Emilio and Maria are the best. Very kind, helpfull, interested. They made our stay extra special. If you hesitate... Don't. Just book one of the iglo houses and enjoy the Sicilian hospitality.

Abbiamo soggiornato 15 giorni da Emilio. Il posto è splendido, sul mare, tranquillo e silenzioso, a pochi minuti dal centro di Sciacca. Il bungalow è confortevole ed è stato per noi un ottimo punto di partenza per visitare il sud ovest della bellissima Sicilia. Gentilissimi e molto accoglienti Emilio e Maria, che hanno fatto di tutto per rendere le nostre vacanze indimenticabili. Grazie di tutto !

Our favorite host of the trip. Emilio and his wife Maria were warm and gracious and had a wealth of information and suggestions which made our stay so much better. He suggested a visit to the mountaintop town of Caltabellotta and the restaurant Mates, which turned out to be the best dining experience of our two week trip. Both the family that runs it and the food were simply wonderful. And like Erice, the town is on top of the world. Emilio's cozy bungalows are pretty much right by the sea where the swimming is good- a bit cooler water than the north coast and more sandy bottom than rocky so at least on the days we were there, not as dramatic for snorkeling but great for swimming. The house is very remote so if you're looking for peace and quiet and great star-gazing ( saw some shooting stars) this place is ideal. The sound of the sea is now at night. We didn't get a chance to use the large outdoor kitchen area but it looks great. Again a completely fantastic visit. A 100% thumbs up. You couldn't ask for better hosts.
