I don’t even have enough room to rave about Shawn and his wife and team. They were FANTASTIC and even with an issue they had with their previous renters that delayed our check in a bit, they were so good to us and gave us a gift for our patience. The home was gorgeous with a beautiful location on the river. A great place to celebrate our 93 year old mom. Thank you Shawn for helping us make great memories.

Loved the location - couldn’t even remember that we were in the Houston area. Great waterfront with a breeze that kept the mosquitoes at bay and temperatures down. The house is clean and newly renovated inside. Lots of nice small touches with fishing gear, some food, and dog bowls provided. Shawn went out of his way to replace a gate so my dog wouldn’t escape, which was totally unexpected and very much appreciated. Nice walking paths to a park that he told me about. Overall, great experience and I hope to be back!

One word to describe our stay AMAZING! My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. The home was decorated nicely and the views of the lake are spectacular. Our host,Shawn, was the best and always responded on a timely manner. This is definitely a must stay! Loved it!

Shawn was quick and accurate with responses to ALL of our questions. The communication was better than virtually all of our other Air B&B stays. The house had everything we needed and made a very difficult, sad trip for us much more calm and comforting. The lake was a really wonderful surprise. It looks nice in the photos, but they don't do the backyard and view justice. It's beautiful, serene and a highlight of this listing. Plus, Shawn arranged the most amazing thunder and lightning storm any of us have seen in years! We had a natural sound and light show that blew us away! Our family is unanimous in wanting to recommend the Lake House!
