Located on Big McKenzie this beautiful log cabin offers a gentle grade to the lake, fantastic fishing, and a private beach. The perfect place to create memories with your family and friends! We have a cozy TV area, two wood burning fireplaces, outside fire pit and screened porch, the perfect place to enjoy the views without the bugs. The eagles fish from a tall tree on the property, very fun to watch . The loons will lull you to sleep. There are two private balcony's to enjoy coffee or wine and watch the wildlife. This cabin was perfect for a long weekend with close friends. There were 10 of us and we had plenty of space. The beds and bedding were very nice. The layout of the cabin is wonderful for creating lots of spaces for relaxing, conversation, games, whatever you’re in the mood for. It was beautiful and clean and cozy.
Beautiful lodge in a scenic secluded location, with lots of amenities for a comfortable and fun family getaway. The house is clean, well taken care of, and offers everything you will need for a family vacation on a lake. Wendy was a wonderful host!
Wendy’s cabin was a beautiful, secluded and comforting retreat. Our group of moms all agreed it was one of the most relaxing weekends we had in a while. The views are gorgeous and the cozy touches to the cabin make this place one of a kind. Hope to come back again soon!
Such a gorgeous cabin for a ladies weekend! We all had cozy beds, loved making meals in the kitchen and playing games by the fireplace. All of us agreed we’d love to come back again, and that being there in the summer with our families would be the perfect weekend away too. What a gem of a cabin!
I booked Wendy’s cabin for a girls weekend and it was absolutely perfect! The cabin was well stocked and extremely clean! The beds were also very comfortable and the hot tub was such a fun bonus! We loved our experience and would highly recommend!

The lake has fantastic fishing, a public boat launch and
McKenzies landing is located on the water! Spooner is such a fun town to shop in and the food is amazing. What the Heck café has the best pizza in town. They also have gluten-free crust.
We have a shared driveway with a circular driveway towards the house so plenty of parking.
When you come to the Y the cabin is to the right on Duck Pass Road

I live in Stillwater MN with my husband of forever and our two rescue dogs Milton and George. We have 3 adult children and we all love the cabin! My favorite thing is being a mother and cooking for my family. I love anything that has to do with dogs and work with a rescue in my spare time Coco's Heart Dog Rescue. I also sell Real estate in MN and western Wisconsin. My husband Rick has a lawn business and we love spending time together. xoxo
