Chikira was wonderful to work with, the house is beautiful and cozy. She thought of everything- from a basket of games for friends or family night to special goodies in the kitchen- even extra toothbrushes for those who may forget to beignet their own. This house (and host) is intentional and well thought out for anyone’s stay. We loved it!!

Mostly I just want to point out that the host was very responsive and there were concerns that were voiced and subsequently addressed and others that I didn’t have time to discuss. We found out the day of check in that there could be barking dogs and the neighborhood is changing and transitioning. The dogs kept all of us up at night. Also, the main bathroom uses a barn door instead of a hinged door. So there is about a 2 inch gap on each side of the door leaving little privacy. There weren’t pictures showing the door but we found out real quick why you may not want that as your bathroom door. Maybe that was more of a preference but each guest felt like they had no privacy. There was also a smell in the kitchen sink and flies coming from it. The place was cute and updated and we really needed it as a last minute stay for a large family so it checked all of the boxes. There were no available hotels or other Airbnb’s to stay in.

Katie’s Cottage was very relaxing, clean, convenient… Everything was there that you needed or wanted…We had a very calm weekend….I would recommend Katie’s Cottage too anyone…Hospitality was great.. they were available at all times.. all I can say is it was GREAT!!!!!!.
