Castle Beach situated right across the Beach House has been awarded the prestigious "Blue Flag Status Beach", which is an eco-label for beaches recognized as a trusted symbol of clean quality, environmental awareness, and environmental practices co-ordinated by the Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa (WESSA).
A mere 2.5 hours beautiful scenic drive from Cape Town International Airport, is Pearly Beach. The beachfront house is in this small, quiet, and quaint coastal village. A 20 min walk along the beach road to the local store has everything you need. A 10-minute walk brings you to the best beer brewery in the Western Cape. And they serve excellent food, but you have to book in advance. Enjoy while sipping a local wine or beer. Friendly people, that would gladly show you directions to the close-by artist town of Baardskeerdersbos, or how to get to the Black Oyster Catcher Wine Cellar. Great Whale watching spots if you get tired of watching whales from the front deck/porch. And a mere 20 minutes drive is the well-known White Shark Cage diving companies that will gladly take you out for a lifetime experience to watch these majestic creatures. Bird-watching is a great past-time. And off-course you don't even take your towel to the beach if you go for a swim... it's so close. The southernmost point in Africa is Agulhas, a little more than an hour's drive... how many people can say they have been to the most Southern point in Africa?

The best is to have a rental car or your own transport, as there is no public transport to Pearly Beach.
On prior arrangement, a pick-up and drop-off service can be arranged if you do not want to rent a car.
