自我介绍

Both Kevin & Lynda are born and brought up in South Africa. Lynda from Pretoria & Kevin from Durban. Before they met in 1999, each of them had been travelling and working overseas in various countries. Then they met in the desert town of Augrabies on the Orange River, South Africa. They realized that they both still had a passion for travelling, so decided to pack it all up and go overseas for 3 years, backpacking and working in pubs in the UK, Scotland, South East Asia and Australia. With Africa in their blood they always knew that South Africa was there home. In 2002 they returned home, opened up a Backpackers in Robertson and started a river rafting company on the Breede River. Over the years they have improved and expanded the Backpackers. In 2017 they bought a small wooden cottage in Pearly Beach. They called it “Sundowner Cottage” because of the amazing sunsets viewed from the deck. Initially this was their quite little place by the sea where they could relax and unwind. It was never going to be opened up for holiday rental. It was their special “Happy Place”. At the beginning of Dec 2018, they received a phone call asking them if they could please rent out “Sundowner Cottage” over the holiday season. After much deliberation they decided to give it a try and opened up the Cottage for holiday rental on AirBnB. They hope that you enjoy the quite conservancy town of Pearly Beach and the beautiful unspoilt beaches as much as they do and that it also becomes your special “Happy Place”
