this little oasis in the middle of the country was such a peaceful place to rest after a long journey from colorado. after i packed up in the morning i laid in the tall grass by the stream in the sun and listened to the wind blow through the wispy bushes and trees above. very magical :)

Such a neat place. Don't come here if your just a jerk or should really just stay in a hotel. Come here if you're looking to make friends around a fire or at breakfast. You can fall asleep listening to the stream and under the stars in Wyoming. This is where you stay when you want to do something different. It's not a "glamping" experience and its not slumming it. It's just simple. They offer amenities like drinking water, a toilet house, and a shower tent. For the price you cant beat the experience. BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW. If you get cold at night sleep in layers or bring another blanket. If you cant use the bathroom outside or in a large portapotty or want 100% seclusion in nature, this probably isn't your place. But if you're open minded and want a beautiful experience get your butt here and watch the sunset.

Place has a lot of potential. Views were beautiful, fire pit was nice, creek was wonderful to listen to at night. Great "cowboy experience". Just needs to be kept up with some maintenance around the campground.

The Big Quiet was an excellent place to rest my head for a couple nights. It is a camping experience, so be as prepared for that as you can be. The community is adorable and everyone I meant was extremely nice. The stars are amazing at night!
