We loved Loretta's Lodge! It was a perfect early spring getaway and I can tell that it would be beautiful no matter the season! You get a great view of Lake Superior and while there are other cabins around, it feels really peaceful and private. Their barrel sauna is spectacular with a view out to the lake. It's a short drive to cute little towns and Lakeside access points. Clark and Emily left great recommendations for nearby amenities and were really easy to reach with any questions.

One of our new favorite family getaway locations! Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. Cozy, clean, and well-appointed with perfect decor, gorgeous views, and plenty to do inside and out! When we weren't out and about along the north shore (quick drive to SO many great places), we loved our time relaxing at the lodge - including playing the awesome games they provided, watching the sunset out the floor to ceiling windows, and hanging out by the fire making smores. The owners were very communicative, responsive, thorough, and friendly which made checking in, checking out, and everything in between super smooth. With 4 teenagers, it's rare to find something that gets a unanimous - let alone enthusiastic - thumbs up vote. This place is one of those rare finds!! We can't highly recommend it enough and hope to return again someday!

This home is so beautiful. The views out the windows facing Lake Superior are wonderful. Set an alarm for the sunrise. You won’t be sorry. Beautiful stay. Gracious hosts. Would rent again!
