Willow Barn is on our 9.5 acre non working farm that we share with our 2 dogs, 2 cats and a lot of wildlife. The barn is surrounded by beautiful countryside and although off the 'beaten track' has easy access to all West Cornwall has to offer. It's approx half hour drive to Truro, Perranporth, St.Ives, Falmouth, Penzance, The Lizard Pennisula and the Helford. It would suit either a couple or young family, maximum of 2 adults. Willow Barn has just finished its renovation so everything is new and fresh. It has been decorated in relaxing hues to compliment its granite construction. Restoration has been done with thought to leave as many features as we were able to and using real live edged wood in the kitchen and bathroom. The main bedroom has a king size bed and the smaller bedroom has a ‘shorty’ bunk bed. Both rooms have storage for clothes. The kiddies room has a selection of books which I will change to suit the ages of children staying. A bed guard and a ladder guard are available for the bunk bed. A mini cot is available for the main bedroom. It has a shower room with towels provided (please bring own beach towels) and has a heated towel rail. There is a kiddies toilet seat and step up in the utility shed. A baby bath is available. The well equipped kitchen has everything you should need with a dining space inside and outside on the sun trap patio. All our water comes from a spring and has been tested fit for consumption. It is in fact so much more as there are no nasty additives just pure water. A babies highchair and low chair are available. The Lounge area has a Smart T.V , DVD player (a selection of dvd’s including children’s) and a DAB Bluetooth radio from which you can stream your own music. There is a wood burner which will keep you warm and cosy on a chilly night and provides a lovely ambience . WI-FI is available by connection to a 4g router. Netflix/Prime is a very easy connection from your phone if you have the app. The utility shed houses the hot water boiler and washing machine. It also contains iron and ironing board , cleaning equipment, kiddies fire guard, outdoor cushions and 2 kiddie carriers. On a clear evening the night sky is spectacular and great for star gazing, no light pollution here. Dogs are very welcome (£20 per dog cleaning charge ) and there is a large field and a small copse for exercising them on a lead ( we have cattle in a neighbouring field) . Both outdoor spaces are fully enclosed and secure. Bowls and towels provided. From the comfy leather sofa and cosy wood burner to the dreamy king size bed the barn has been designed to make you unwind , relax and sleep well. A special place to return to after all your sightseeing.
