Once you arrive, a short walk takes you to our private lodge, in our stunning, secluded garden where you can be at one with nature. In the lodge, there is a living-kitchen area, outdoor seated area overviewing our ponds, a bunk bed with two single beds and a double bedroom. The home is cosy, inviting and unique. Located 6km south from Westport Town, our lodge consists of a double bedroom and single bedroom with two single bunkbeds, a kitchen-living area and a bathroom. Situated in a beautiful garden surrounded with fauna, the lodge also offers views of our premises from a private outdoor seating area.

Phil was an amazing host, very helpful and friendly. The place was fantastic, clean, comfortable and warm. Recommend this place 100%.

A brand new place made that fits in the environment in a nice and cosy way. Phil was reactive and very helpful whenever needed but remained respectful of our privacy. A very nice stay, close to Westport which surprised us as much more lively than we expected, and overall well-situated to discover the region and go hiking in the Connemara. We'll have to come back to go up Croagh Patrick!

Une petite cabane toute équipée au milieu d’un écrin de nature sauvage. Phil nous a parfaitement accueilli et nous a même offert de quoi préparer le petit déjeuné. On le recommande pour faire un break dans ce beau pays.

Our lodge is extremely well situated to many amenities including:
• 0.5km walk to Brackloon Woods, A popular Fáilte Ireland walking route. For experienced walkers, a long 10km route through the peat bog and mature forestry is also available close to our home.
• 5.2km away from the south access point of Croagh Patrick, with parking also available.
• Offers accessibility to Connemara and the wild Atlantic way, as well as being 30 minutes away from Aashleagh falls, the tourist town of Leenaun and Killary harbour, the only natural fjord in Ireland.

Private and secure parking on our high sweeping driveway alongside our home and own vehicle.
Taxi’s are readily available at a reasonable price close to westport town.
The drive in to Westport town is less than 10 minutes from us, making us a highly desirable choice.
