Beautiful home in a fantastic location! It was the perfect place for our family of 5 to stay and explore the city and surrounding areas. We loved the ocean view, easy parking, walking paths along the water, easy access to downtown, and close proximity (walking distance) to a great pool, bakery, cafe, and grocery shopping.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The views from the house of the Atlantic are just amazing. We were able to walk to a lovely little cafe in the mornings, and there is a grocery store close by. The house is beautiful, and Maria was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

Stunning family home by the sea. Quiet and peaceful location with great panoramic views from the property. Balconies on front and side of property make great space for sitting out. House was spacious with beautiful interior and well equipped. Easy to park outside and short distance to main road and 20 mins walk to the centre of Reykjavik. Host was very quick to respond to any queries. Was a great stay for family of four with 2 teenagers- would highly recommend.

I have visited Iceland 13 times now, and María Sigrún's place is by far my favorite place I have stayed out of all the many Airbnbs. Her home is spacious, clean, well-decorated, cozy and not only has everything you could ever need, but has a stunning view of the ocean right outside, as well as a view of the mountains and volcano erupting in the distance. It's peaceful, private, beautiful and outside the throngs of tourists, but also close to the heart of Reykjavik -- only a 10 minute walk to Laugavegur. My fav coffee shop (Kaffihús Vesturbaerjar) with delicious food for lunch and dinner, too, is a 3 minute walk, so if you don't feel like walking, you still have a great restaurant with a fun atmosphere right there. María was extremely communicative, kind, and generous as a host. She accommodated my request for an early check-in and provided clear, helpful instructions and tips. I hope to stay here during future trips -- very highly recommended
