We had a wonderful time at Oscar's place. The House has everything you need and especially the kitchen is very well equipped. We spent a lot of time in East-London so we could also walk around a lot. The only thing that was a bit odd was that there seems to be a fine for almost everything (late check-in for example, even though there is a key box). We did not have to pay any of the fines but I found it a bit unwelcoming.
We had a bit of a strange stay at the Wash House in London. The instructions we were given to check-in were slightly off, perhaps dated, and then we didn't have heat or hot water for the first night and day following. Fortunately we were out of the suite during that day, but we received no communication about whether the heat/hot water issue was being solved, so had no idea what we were returning to later that evening. Fortunately it had been fixed, but it was an added stress that was unnecessary. Additionally, some of Oscar's messages had a feeling like they were either AI or on a timer, and had nothing to do with our actual experience there. Altogether it was a bit odd. Now, for the suite, it is a genuinely unique and cool place to stay. I wouldn't say it's very private as it's in the middle of a housing unit's courtyard, so during the day there are people about, but some people might enjoy that feeling. But prepare to wake up with the sun and sounds of Stepney Green.
The gorgeous Wash House sits in the courtyard of philanthropic social housing built by the East End Dwellings Company in 1899. An atmosphere of cheerful, good living still prevails, exemplified by towels flapping on laundry lines, spring bulbs bursting out of their planters, and goldcrests competing with parakeets to fill the courtyard with song. Stepney was much damaged by the Blitz, and by hurried re-building on slum clearances, but walk around and you can find the medieval village green overlooked by the 15th century bell tower of St Dunstan’s; 17th century almshouses, 18th century Huguenot houses, a spectacular Jewish baker (Rinkoff’s) from 1911, and the wonderful, anticipatory scent of Ramadan cooking from today’s Bangladeshi community. If you like East End history, this is the most beguiling place to stay. The area is not glamorous, but warm and human; the Wash House itself, Oscar’s superb communication, the comfortable bed and the luxurious bath make this a real treat.

自我介绍
Hello Everyone, my name is Oscar! I have lived in London for some time now but I may assuredly now say that I am entirely aware of the culture and magnificent characteristics that this wonderful city entails. Let me ensure you that this place is worth your visit and you will be surprisingly delighted by the welcoming and the liveliness atmosphere of historical London. I currently work in the photography industry so my job requires my full concentration, hence I have chosen to relocate nearer to my workplace in Surrey. In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports, creative writing and travelling. My most enjoyed places to visit include Germany and Japan. They are fantastic places full of history and culture. So if you ever need a suggestion for a great place to eat, let me know and I would be honoured to help you there as well. I joined Airbnb because I love to travel in my spare time but now I have decided to host as well. Being a host is of high importance to me because it allows me to be helpful to the visitors, whereas I can imagine, it may be difficult to orientate yourself in the first few days of arriving at a new setting. I find it very exciting to host people from all across the world! I would count myself as a "hands-on" host because I believe it is essential to be there for your guest. The main rule I live by is "treat people how you would like to be treated", and I will be sure to treat you with the utmost respect. With that in mind, I may confidently state that I will be reliable, friendly and an organised host to make your stay as smooth as possible. Consequently, I decided that Airbnb is a great opportunity to be useful for travellers that come to tour and explore the incredible London. In my profile, you will be able to find a selection of accommodations to choose from based on your liking. I hope you enjoy your stay whilst I will try to provide you with immediate assistance to ensure that you have an outstanding trip! For a better experience of my guests, my listings are handled by a dedicated property management company who will do everything to guarantee that your stay will be impeccable. I hope you enjoy your stay in London!
