This place is something else. Situated right on the water of the Lake, just a 2 minute drive from the busy center of Como. Close enough to enjoy the bustling city and all it has to offer, but just far enough away to escape the noise and relax after a busy day of shopping, eating and drinking wine! The building is stunning, after driving through the automatic private gate and following the driveway to your private parking spot, it’s a 30 second walk until you are greeted by this fabulous 18th century building, amidst the trees and shimmer of the lake. Huge wooden 8 foot doors are all that stands between you and this taste of Italian luxury. Everything about the exterior of the building is fitting with the historical timeline of Lake Como. Inside, the home is beautiful. At first glance, the decor is as vintage as the building, but a blink of the eyes reveal contemporary art and all the mod cons of modern life. If it’s available on your dates, BOOK IT. You won’t be disappointed.

Wow, what a stunning place! The ambiance and vibe of the flat was breathtaking. Extremely clean, well furnished, even a bottle of wine as we entered! The views are the best you’ll find and best quiet retreat on the lake. Just a short drive from Como, and nice restaurants nearby. We loved this place and can’t wait to come back.

Giorgio was a great host. The place itself was amazing. Would suggest renting a car or scooter or something, as it’s not the easiest to get around. Great little dinner type place down the road, as well as a small food store.

An amazing apartment with unreal views of the Lake. The views are as good as anywhere in the south that we saw. Well equipped and spacious. Can get a little hot as there is no air con but there is a fan. Giorgio an excellent communicator and very helpful on pretty much everything we asked! Some tips: We did not have a car/scooter which I would highly recommend. Lots of mosquitoes and ants so bring repellant. Blevio itself is a 10-15 minute walk but there are no pavements and the driving can be fairly dangerous around tight bends. La dispenseria shop in Blevio is an excellent and the staff are extremely helpful. You can buy bus tickets here. The bus services (C30, C31, C32) are fairly frequent (except Sunday) to Como/north from just beyond the end of the driveway. Timings can be a little erratic and the C30 service is usually rammed with people heading to Bellagio so getting the other is recommended especially if you have luggage. Get an app called Moovit.
