I love Ashley's place. Stayed here a couple times now. It feels like a safe part of town and still not too far from the center of Spokane. Bed is extremely comfy, better than my own and everything is cleaned so well. It is spotless and all the linens feel fresh and new. You can hear footsteps above you but not voices and the driveway is as Ashley described but there was no issue. I also like the super easy access for the Airbnb. No stairs if you have limitations that way.

I was skeptical due to a previous stay at a different AirBnB which was also a basement set up. I was greatly relieved when I realized how private Ashley and Seth had it setup and I couldnt hear the conversations or walking above the basement, unlike a previous experience. I didn't feel like I was staying in someone's house, but in a private apartment. Next time I need to book a place for a similar reason (spring 2024!), this will be one of the first spots I check for availability.

My partner and I ended up staying in Spokane a day longer than expected and didn't have a place to stay. We were overwhelmed, and exhausted, our ideal spot fell through, and the hotels were very expensive because there were a few festivals in town at the time. We reached out nervously unsure if we'd be able to get in same-day but Ashley was extremely quick in response and we were able to access the unit within 30 minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Once arrived, we messaged Ashley to let her know that we'd be ordering food and not to worry about the 8 pm car arrival in her long and private driveway, she got back to us and wished us well immediately. They really did a nice job with this basement mother-in-law. There isn't a kitchen, per se, but there is a full-sized fridge and microwave, with tea, a keurig, creamer, popcorn, a little bag of candy for us, and some basics. The bed was amazing, temp and lights easy to control- we really loved it, and hope to return. Cozy and clean!!
