Located just 14.7 miles from Mammoth Cave National Park. Go hiking, fishing, boating, or even swimming at the nearby beach at Nolin Lake State Park! (Boat ramp 1 mi from house.) Or perhaps just relax and enjoy a meal on the spacious covered deck. You will find endless opportunities to make lasting memories. Our home offers 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen, and washer & dryer. Master bedroom has a queen size bed and TV. Second bedroom has twin over full sized bunk beds and a TV, and the third bedroom has twin bunk beds with a TV as well. Bedding and towels are provided as well as extra bedding just in case. The large covered deck and gas grill are the icing on the cake! This outside space is absolutely perfect for watching the stunning sunsets over Nolin Lake and grilling out your favorite foods with family & friends. Don’t forget the fire pit just steps away for stories and s’mores! A few of our favorite places to visit while in town: Mammoth Cave Nat’l Park is 14.7 miles (approx 25-30min drive) and the World’s largest cave system is 20 miles (approx 45-60min drive). Be sure to check their website for reservations as they sometimes can book quickly. The cute little town of Glendale, KY is only 22 miles, about a 27min car ride away. Their Whistle Stop Diner (situated along the railroad) is one of the most popular restaurants and has been around nearly 50 years. Or if you’re looking for more upscale dining try Tony York’s on Main. Don’t forget to browse around the antique shops while you’re there! Lastly, you could always venture out into Bourbon Country and visit some of the famous distilleries around! Jim Beam, Maker’s Mark, Heaven Hill, Lux Row, and several others are about a 60-80 min drive depending on the distillery.
