We stayed here while visiting Mammoth cave. It was a cool place in a very private, peaceful area. We much enjoyed the large patio deck area. The hot tub was nice & clean & there is a large table to enjoy a family lunch/dinner outside. The cabins are as pictured, simple but with everything you need. The walk to the lake is beautiful, we saw lots of turtles in the woods which was neat. Do be advised, at least at the time of our visit, you had to vigilant in checking for ticks, it wasn’t just here though we stayed near red river gorge a couple days later & had the same issue. The hosts were great about providing all the information you needed & quick to respond when there were questions. It definitely seems like they do their best to improve your experience when feedback is given as some of the things mentioned in the previous reviews had been updated. They are aware of the ticks also, which they can’t control in the woods, but they did treat the cabin area to help where they could.

We loved this place! Great little place to spend a couple days! We loved everything about it and can’t await to go back and this time take the in-laws for a little R&R.
