I stayed at the cabin for 9 days! And I loved it. The first two days were very cold and even though the cabin has a propane fire pit, it doesn’t heat up the entire place. Other than that the place is lovely! After the first day, I realized then that there was an electrical heater which I preferred to use, and it was extremely useful. It made the cabin more cozy and enjoyable. The cabin also has an electrical blanket which I used at nighttime, allowing me to sleep so good! I will definitely come back when gets a bit warmer. Martin was so great, he gave me instructions in everything I needed and he was very flexible with the checkin and checkout times. Wifi was great in the cabin too, I was able to work for the days I needed to. Overall the experience was fantastic and I highly recommend this place if you want some quiet space/time for a getaway outside the chaotic city.

Extremely quiet and secluded spot, very cozy with vast history. Unusual amount of precipitation during our stay, making the short stretch of road from Baileys to the cabin extremely muddy and difficult to turn truck around, check forecast and prepare accordingly. Woke up to snow 2 days which was nice, drive an hour and your at the beach. One of the most unique and surreal places I've stayed in, great wifi and gorgeous views, sights and sounds! Very cozy bed in master, cool loft for kids, I would definitely stay again. Martin was responsive and helpful, highly recommend this spot, especially for those that seek out history and nature and love "roughing it" but has all the amenities of regular house. Also great for kids to see how simple and great life used to be!

Absolutely gorgeous location. A beautiful view from the balcony. A very cozy and warm cabin that was very relaxing to just chill in. Martin was very helpful and communicated for any issues that came up. Also worth noting is the drive up to the cabin is also gorgeous as well. Very pleasant stay, I highly recommend.
