Our weekend stay was exactly what we had hoped it would be - beautiful, quiet, and completely relaxing. The stars were beautiful each night! We loved the cleanliness and the feel of such a clutter-free home and the quality of all the amendments. The jacuzzi tub was amazing and the beds were soft and cozy. We absolutely fell in love with the large windows and the cross breeze. When we need another weekend away, we will definitely book again! :-)

The A-frame cabin was the perfect mountain getaway, and an incredible experience to stay during a snowstorm. The place was meticulously clean and well taken care of. It was the best pet friendly Airbnb we have stayed in, our rescue pups had a blast sniffing around in the snow and just watching the nature outside the massive windows. Ephraim was detailed and helpful and made check in and check out super easy. The instructions for the amazing and efficient wood burning fireplace were easy to follow and it kept us warm through the night. We would love to come back and stay again!! Just don't be like us and get stuck going up the icy road on the way home 😂. We had a heavy front wheel drive car (with chains) but we had to wait half an hour for the slush to melt down a bit before we could drive out of the pocket neighborhood. All-wheel drive would've been no problem though. Cheers!!

The property was as listed and the host was very responsive via text. I enjoyed the stay and wish I had reserved more nights. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and the wood burning stove really made the difference.

We enjoyed our stay at this serene cabin. It was a nice place to enjoy the quiet, a toasty fire, and share a meal. It is well located and close to other sites we wanted to visit - Palomar Mountain State Park and Palomar Observatory. The cabin is tidy and the living room and kitchen are spacious. We stayed over an unseasonably cold spring weekend with snow and hail. While this was charming to take in from the cabin, we did find the cabin to be a bit cold despite us maintaining a good fire. Bring layers! The split HVAC unit warms the upstairs bedroom best, while the rear bedrooms were quite cold. I would hesitate to stay here with guests in the rear bedrooms in winter, or I would want for additional blankets (the house has three small throws). The water heater failed while we were here, but Ephraim and his local cabin caretaker were responsive and sympathetic about this, if unable to resolve it during our stay. This cabin has new clean finishes and suited our weekend away nicely.
