Ensueños is a beautiful place. If you want a real unique island experience look no further. We enjoyed peaceful days in hammocks, swimming in the picturesque ocean close to the property as well as all of the surrounding nature. Ramon and his wife were lovely hosts. Down to earth, chilled and interesting people. Their 7 dogs were also lovely and great to have around. All of the food at ensueños was delicious, fresh and organic. We ate breakfast their most mornings and two evenings. All cooked by Ramons friendly and helpful team. Ensueños was the perfect place to disconnect, relax in a beautiful peaceful environment and connect with what’s important.

It truly is a jungle paradise. Ramon and his wife are very sweet, kind, and helpful. There is a bar and a restaurant right next door that is delicious. The walk into town through the jungle was really peaceful and beautiful. And the beach is gorgeous 🥰 Definitely bring a flashlight for returning from town in the evening. And I would highly suggest using the panga Taxi to arrive the first day.

We really loved the cabina, it was gorgeous and very clean. The beds were great and comfy with mozzie nets. The shower is really powerful and refreshing. The kitchen was well equipped too. The only problem that we didn’t foresee was no refrigeration, so we had to buy food daily which is a 25 min walk each way to the village. We did eat here one night but at $50 for 2 after spending so much on the accommodation it wasn’t really in our budget. It’s close to the beach but not on the beach. It was quite windy when we were there so we probably didn’t see the sea at it’s best. The other side of the island is much calmer and we stayed there later on. We thought the grounds around the place could be tidied up, that would have made it prettier. We know it’s nature but even nature needs a tidy sometimes. On the whole it was an awful lot of money that was supposed be a treat, but we stayed in equally if not more gorgeous basic places for a fraction of the cost around Nicaragua.

Tonfiltriertes Trinkwasser, schöne Veranda, zwei große Queensize Betten mit Tip-Top Moskitonetz; Alles „sustainable“ und lokale Produkte zum Essen; Kein Plastikmüll; Geniales Frühstück für 10 Dollar, wirklich das beste Frühstück auf der Insel; Schlussendlich eine tolles und interessanter Austausch über Philosophie, Biologie, Bildung, Politik und Metaphysik mit Ramon. Eine wundervolle Person. Tolles Karma.
