Wildlife, peacefulness, and tranquility meet modern amenities in this new (2020) concrete log cabin. 🪵 Prepare to be awestruck by the magnificent view that surrounds you! The open concept kitchen and living room area is designed with windows galore, creating an outdoor feeling while inside the home. Wake up to a gorgeous Mountain View from a luxurious split king adjustable bed in the master bedroom, or enjoy the view of the woods and road from the second bedroom. Cozy up by the indoor fireplace or gather around the fire pit outside for a truly relaxing and unwinding experience. Nature is all around, and even the birds fly below you at this impressive elevation of approximately 2,000 ft.

The mountain view was amazing. We were able to sit under the overhang on the back porch and watch the rain and thunderstorms in a dry setting. The days it didn't rain we had Turkeys and Deer show up nearby to watch. I am sure this would be a breath taking view in the fall. The open concept of the house made it very easy to get around and enjoy other's company. It was very peaceful and quiet around the house. It is a bit of a drive to get anywhere, but beautiful country to drive through. If you are looking for a nice place to go for dinner, I would recommend the Irrational Kitchen + Taps in Cookeville about 45 minutes away. The host was extremely easy to deal with and quick to respond to any needs. She was also very good at making sure I had all the information I needed to get checked in and out ahead of time. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to unwind and get away for a while.
The view of the mountain alone is worth the stay.

Our visit was not long enough! Anita was extremely responsive and kind. The view is indescribable. The pictures do not do it justice. The house was clean and matched the description. The amenities were perfect. She has thought of everything. Personally, I also really appreciated the vintage touches all over the house. She gave it a warm touch of leaving a notebook above the kitchen sink for her visitors. We LOVED this stay and hope to be back!! Thank you Anita for sharing your home with us!
Super peaceful and relaxing environment! Lovely view. Easy stay for us and our two dogs! Advice for others: it’s super secluded! Just keep that in mind if you are specifically looking to do stuff, it will be a drive. But we did go to two hiking spots within an hour drive. Also if you coming from the North (Chicago land, Indy, etc. ) stop in Livingston, TN at Food Lion for groceries.

Very quiet neighborhood with established neighbors and 5 acre lots. Nearest neighbors are two lots away.
Stars are beautifully visible at night. Best viewed from the area in front of the garage doors; away from the street light in the culdesac.
