A bedroom area with a good bed and mattress, a hanging space for clothes, snazzy light fittings double as bedsides with charging points for phones. A handy shelf housing kettle, tea and coffee in the corner conveniently placed for the early morning cuppa, right next to the kitchenette housing the cutest fridge freezer, an air fryer/oven an induction hob that you can pop on the work surface to use, and a tiny dishwasher, who wants to wash up when on holiday. Opposite this is a shower room, good size shower, basin & toilet with automatic lighting and fan. The living area has a gateleg table with stools, to eat or work at. WiFi, available at no charge, a TV with on demand features, a comfy sofa, and of course, for the winter visitors, a lovely woodburner. Completing the living area, the double doors with views down the garden can be opened up to let the outdoors in, and the deck is a further place to sit.. this is what relaxing is all about.
The potting shed was a really relaxing get away. Just me, my book and the log burner and the peace. Sarah was friendly and her dogs were always happy to see me. I recommend going to the Somerset cider Brandy distillery it’s a very interesting place, will have to go back again someday!
Fantastic little place….. the accommodation had everything you could need for a glamping style trip. The garden is beautiful, we made use of the bbq. We drove to the coast and enjoyed beautiful scenery.
The Potting Shed was great value for money with a really lovely host. Sarah made us feel very at home and made sure we had all we wanted. The accommodation had everything you would need - it had all been thought through really well. Although we did not take her up on the kind offer of homemade ready meals, Sarah provided milk, bread and some delicious home made marmalade! We had asked for a dinner recommendation and Sarah kindly booked us a table at the Rusty Ace Inn which was an easy walk from the shed and lovely food. We felt comfortable leaving our car with her as it was parked behind a gate and you have your own car port to park by. We would highly recommend staying here and will be coming back after hearing all that Sarah has planned for her beautiful garden! Some other suggestions nearby - The Wyndham Arms (great choice of local cider), Burrow Hill Cider Farm (book onto a tour!), Montacute House and a trip to Cheddar Gorge.
Our weekend away at Sarah's Airbnb home was pleasant and very relaxing - the tiny home had all amenities provided for, including a lovely selection of fresh local produce with the option to buy more from Sarah directly - the accommodation was spotless, beautifully renovated, with a lot of unique and fun characteristics to make it really feel like a home - couldn't have asked for better!
The property is in the delightful village of Kingsbury Episcopi, there are two churches, a local pub and a fabulous community run shop, with post office and cafe. There are a further 10 pubs and restaurants within a 5 mile radius. There are numerous National Trust properties nearby and gardens to visit. Historic towns Langport and Somerton, are a short drive away.
This is a rural area so we have bus’s but not frequently, timetables will be provided. Cycling is popular here, the levels are exactly that, level, so few hills to climb. Walking is very well catered for, numerous well signed footpaths. Driving to nearby towns, Langport and Somerton , parking is free. Further afield Bridgwater, Taunton, Yeovil, Glastonbury, charges apply.

Hi, I am a 50 something year old. Slightly bonkers. Used to enjoy the party life but now love my huge garden to potter in, grow my veggies and then cook with them. I can offer lovely fresh seasonal food from the garden, and frozen ready meals, using the vegetables that I have grown. Also love my 2 spaniels, one of which is even more bonkers than me.
