We had a really great time at Elaine and Stephen's place. The Stable View had everything we needed and the rustic beams brought a unique charm to the place. It felt just right – homey and comfortable. The garden was extremely beautiful too! Their pets were the cherry on top, especially for our black labrador, Maria. She had an exciting time playing around with their dog, Ollie. Their horses were also amazing with Helen being our particular favourite. Elaine and Steven were more than just hosts. They were friendly, quick to respond, and always ready to help out with anything we needed. Can't appreciate their effort enough. If there were an option to rate above the 5-star limit, they'd surely deserve it. We enthusiastically recommend Elaine's and Stephen's place for anyone seeking a home away from home. We look forward to our next stay!

The house was gorgeous and immaculate. Lots of little touches to show there was a great deal of thought put in to guest’s comfort. The beds were incredibly comfortable with fabulous linen. There was a handy information folder on the area and the history of the houses. We loved it and would go back in a heartbeat. Absolutely beautiful surrounds and parking right there. Thanks so much to Elaine and Stephen for a wonderful stay!

We had a lovely time at the property and it had everything we needed for the 2 nights, including nice spots for dog walking at sunset. Elaine and Stephen were very friendly and at hand to guide us. Our dog loved playing with the other dogs and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, however the fence might not be overly secure for small dogs. The property was a little hot and could have done with more ventilation but not an issue if it’s not too hot outside. Everything was perfectly clean and we felt right at home. A great place to stay at if you want to get a feel for living on a farm and getting to know the hosts. Thank you both.

Elaine and Stephen are lovely hosts and the stable view cottage was perfect for our family stay. Our boys loved having our own little garden to enjoy.

We had a brilliant few days! Elaine and Stephen are fantastic hosts: friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble! We also loved the feel of the place, from the beautiful accommodation (which had everything we needed) to the menagerie of animals (dogs, cats, horses). All in all, we would highly recommend staying at Stable View.
