Beautiful sweeping views of San Francisco Bay abound from this very private hillside home with direct water access. Perfect for multiple couples, a family getaway or work travel. Stunning sunrises warm the entire house every morning. 2 bedroom 2 bath main house + private MIL suite with bath. 7 min from Larkspur fast ferry terminal. 7 min to downtown Tiburon. The space: Overview: Ranch style one story home divided into a main 2 bedroom 2 bath house and a fully equipped mother-in-law suite with uninterrupted water views from almost every room and a long deck stretching across the entire property. The home offers direct water access via stairs from the deck. This is an older home (the bathrooms in particular are a bit out of date) but we love it because the home has great character and charm and stunning views. If you prefer very modern houses, this may not be for you. However, all furnishings, mattresses, appliances, etc are brand new and the home is immaculately cleaned. The waterfront is extremely peaceful and private. The staircase down to the water is long and would not be ideal for very small children or people with impaired mobility. However for everyone else, we highly recommend you grab some wine and head down there for sunset, or coffee for sunrise is even more stunning. We have a record player in the living room and a bunch of older records for guests to enjoy. Main house: The living and dining room greet you with wall-to-wall bay-view windows and access to the deck. The dining room is surrounded by a greenhouse/all glass windows so it is filled with natural night. Sliding doors offer fresh air and direct deck access. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking for 2, several couples or a big family. The main bedroom features a king bed, access to the deck, closet, and bathroom directly outside the room. It has a large desk for those who must work while in Tiburon, but the desk faces the stunning bay view which should make work less painful! The second bedroom (the yellow room) has a queen bed, large closet, views of the wooded area to the side of the house and bay views down the coast. This room has a full bathroom with a standing shower just off the kitchen. The closet in this room includes supplies for families traveling with small children including a pack and play, thick changing pad, a high chair and a box of toys and books. You are welcome to use these in this room of wherever works for your family. Mother-in-law Unit: The mother-in-law suite is perfect for couples who want to travel together, but with privacy, older children or any groups that want shared and separate space. The suite is a large open room with a king bed, a bar height table with high chairs with backs for working or dining, a smaller table and two chairs to enjoy a coffee or wine and watch the view, and a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with a combined bath and shower. The MIL suite also has a full washer dryer. It is the only washer dryer on the property. Parking: There is plenty of parking space available. Please refer to the photos. Guests can park in front of the mother in law unit or beside it. There is also parking in front of the gate and mailbox on Paradise Drive. Please park in one of our designated spaces and know that the driveway is shared by several neighbors so please do not block the driveway exits. Thank you! Accessibility: While the house is not technically up to modern accessibility standards, the house is extremely accessible as a previous owner was in a wheelchair.
