The location and setting is magical - overlooking chestnut trees, lemons, quince trees on the riverbank. A big beautiful lawn has lots of little play activities laid out and plenty of shade. The kids (7&9) loved jumping in the pool, playing football and badminton. 5 minutes walk along the river is a beach with a bar and water activities. The house is much better than the pics. Beautiful terrace, spectacular view. It was an easy drive into Porto to see the Serralves art museum, the Piscina de Mares and the city centre. The host Antonio was incredibly kind and convivial, and invited us to take lettuce, tomatoes and lemons from the garden and gave us great recommendations in the area including taking us to the local river fish festival. We would highly recommend and would go back any day.

Amazing and unique place on the river Douro! Perfect for someone who is looking for nature and tranquility. The house turns out much, much better than on the pictures. Waking up with the view on the river is unforgettable and worth any money! Antonio the host was the best host we ever had met! He was super responsive very helpful always proactive, he made our stay smooth and hassle free. He made our stay extraordinary and for sure this place will stay in our hearts.

Séjour au top 👌 Vue magnifique, piscine très agréable , Endroit très bien entretenu, Antonio très sympathique et très serviable . Petit potager pour aller chercher les légumes . Endroit à visiter :)

Excellent séjour au calme, parfait pour se ressourcer dans un environnement verdoyant, bien entretenu et très bien équipé...et tout cela au coeur de la nature environnante majestueuse !

Cadre magnifique Des astuces bien pensées et responsables. Nous avons passé un séjour formidable, la petite plage à côté pour faire du wakeboard est top aussi. Petit endroit de paradis. Merci à Antonio pour sa disponibilité.
