great spot to land after several days in Big Bend and the surrounding desert. Hot shower, clean and uncluttered home and great beds. The outdoor space, particularly the backyard, was overgrown with 1 foot tall weeds but we did not use the fire pit or sitting area so it did not affect us at all. Great location to explore the town by foot.

Only stayed the night on the way to the eclipse, so we didn’t spend much time there, but it was a nice place with everything you needed. We would have enjoyed staying a few more nights. We were able to do a load of laundry and take showers, which was very convenient between camping trips! Convenient location in a neighborhood in the middle of Alpine near downtown.

We enjoyed our stay at El Corazon. it was comfortable, peaceful & cozy. it was convenient to the places we wanted to visit in the area and in a quiet neighborhood. April was always responsive, friendly and attentive.

My daughter and I drove through a dust storm to our scheduled spot for the night. Arrived about 5. It was not going to work for a variety of personal reasons. So, spring break in West Texas, I am in the middle of nowhere in a dust storm at 5pm and have to find somewhere to stay where lodging options are kinda full. I took a chance and booked this place. One hour later we were safe and sound in this super cute little well equipped, comfortable, clean house. Check-in was a breeze. Grocery is nearby. Town is 100% walkable when the wind isn’t gusting to 70 mph! Easy access to Marathon, BBNP, Marfa etc. Would not hesitate to stay in this little gem again.
