Take a break and unwind. This beautifully done en-suite garage conversion is located in the popular village of St Dogmaels, near the market town of Cardigan. It is a perfect base for anyone looking for peace & tranquillity, within walking distance of the community owned village pub and the village shop. Poppit Sands Beach is approximately 1.5 miles away. A comfy sofa, 43" TV, coffee and tea making facilities, double bed and superb en-suite bathroom. There is on road parking available at the front of the property.
Very clean and tidy with a comfortable bed and good shower. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the peace and quiet this quaint property had to offer. Kayla was very helpful with a quick response time. There was also a welcome book with ideas of places to go. Would definitely recommend.
A perfect place for a single person or couple to use as a base for a stay & who prefer eating out. A very quiet location with easy access to the main town, Cardigan, & surrounding beaches & other attractions. Accomodation was immaculate & host very friendly & helpful.
Again another awesome stay at Kayla’s …. Second time here and no doubt if available I’ll be back…. Never a problem and a modern, spotless and quiet place to base yourself at. I highly recommend a stay here and with Kayla as a host you won’t go far wrong…. Top host and a great person 👍
Highly recommend this place to anyone…. Clean, modern and quiet. Good shower, comfy bed and a nice size TV….. I was a single traveller and suited my needs perfectly…. Will 100% be using this place again when back in the area. Kayla’s an awesome host but more importantly a very nice, down to earth and friendly lady who couldn’t have done anything else to make my stay easy and comfortable…… top host 👍
St Dogmaels is a tranquil village, full of very friendly locals, located at the mouth of the River Teifi on the stunning Pembrokeshire coast. The village centres around the Abbey ruins and Y Felin, one of only two remaining operational watermills in Wales.
At Y Felin you are able to purchase flour, bread and cakes and enjoy a demonstration of how the mill works. A visit to the Coach House Café is also highly recommended for tea, cakes and light bites. Every Tuesday is the St Dogmaels local producers market, which is also worth a visit.
The White Hart Pub is a community owned pub, and a warm welcome awaits you there! Mór Ffein is the local fish and chip shop where you will find delicious food and friendly staff. There is also a Post Office and local Premier Shop.
The historic market town of Cardigan is only a little over a mile away, offering a wider selection of shops and restaurants.
The beautiful Poppit Sands beach is approximately a mile and half away, offering a blue flag beach where you can build endless sand castles, picnic, relax and swim.
St Dogmaels offers the main village car park, opposite the post office, and another smaller car park at Alexandra Gardens. There are busses and taxis if you would prefer not to drive. Walking within the village, and to Cardigan is possible, please just be mindful that there are not always pavements!
自我介绍
I am mum to two not-so-little-anymore boys, and while they are both substantially taller than me and pat me on the head far too often, they will always be my babies. I am originally from South Africa, and moved to the UK in December 1996. My boys, mum and I moved to St Dogmaels in July 2011. The village is full of the most incredible people I have ever met, and has a sense of community that I haven't encountered anywhere else.
