I don't normally post a review however we enjoyed our stay and felt very welcomed and appreciated. We want to go again in the summer months to enjoy the sun and beach. Thank you Jim. Louise and Fred.

“First time in Southampton and staying at A Little Downtime was a great location. Close to the beach and the High St. shops and restaurants. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the decor and how comfortable it was. We will definitely be back during the summer to enjoy bbq dinners on the deck and the fire pit.”

Not sure if you could find a more hospitable host. The place is newly renovated and spotless. Tastefully done. Short walk to the beach. Very comfortable place would highly recommend!

Had a business meeting in Saugeen Shores. My wife tagged along to explore this beautiful little beach town. Jim's place was easy to find, clean, well appointed and cozy. Although it is March it is a block to the beach which has a beautiful boardwalk. Also a ten minute walk to the downtown strip which was fun to walk around and visit the local shops. Some great restaurants and nice little coffee shop. We will be coming back in the summer to enjoy the beautiful beach! Thanks Jim and Jenn for your hospitality!

Jim's place is a great place to stay. It's got everything he advertised, it's central, and it's set up beautifully. It was super comfortable and well laid out. I'd like to get back there in the summer as he built a nice area to relax in outside.
