Had a great time. The kids loved the cabin. Would highly recommend it to anyone who likes hiking and great downtown areas.

Read all amenities and take them to heart. If you’re staying for more than a night or two, bring all your own stuff. Quite literally all they provide is bar soap, dishwasher pods, garbage bags, and a travel size bottle of dish soap. The bedding is very old, the pillows on the beds are practically flat, and they provide minimum towels. It is pitch black at night, and there is little to no light outside the cabin, so it is difficult to navigate at night. The ceiling fan in the loft portion makes noise when turned on, and the TV upstairs doesn’t change channels and doesn’t support streaming. I don’t want to end this review on a negative note. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, and the location of the cabin is practically ideal. However, I would be doing future renters a disservice to not point out these shortcomings. If we had known how little was provided for our stay here, we would have not booked this cabin.

The location was beautiful right off main drag. When driving to cabin your gps will try to take you up one way (take right instead and follow road around. Very dusty on curtains, ceiling fans, and con webs in some places. Neither upstairs or downstairs showers worked so be prepared for sponge bath in dirty tub.

My dog and I came here for a birthday weekend and loved it! The only complaint I had during our trip was checking in, but thankfully VTrip provides a number to call for any incidentals and they were very quick to assist me with checking in. The cabin itself has a rustic charm to it that makes it a perfect getaway for anyone who wants quiet, relaxing weekend.
