Stoney Brook did a great job with responsiveness as there was issue with back door not latching all the way, front door was not locking at first, no ice or water working for the refrigerator. Stoney did correct issues the following day the first half of the day. There were also issues with roaches coming up intermittently during our stay. I killed several mainly in the kitchen, one in master bedroom and one in the lower level of the property. Other than that the cabin was really nice, enjoyed the hot tub and scenery.

Great cabin in the woods! Super kid friendly and close enough that you can get to town in 20 minutes. Loved the pool, hot tub and arcade games!

First, our rental wasn’t ready by 4 pm. After calling at 5:30, we were given our code. Once we got to the rental, the pool &hot tub were cold. I called Stony Brook cabins & was told we would have to wait until they warmed up which would be hours. This was unacceptable due to the fact we specifically booked a cabin with a pool & hot tub for our kids to use. They were very disappointed they couldnt use them. There was sawdust everywhere. Dirt on the floors. There was hardly any warm water in the upstairs shower. Around 10 pm, we heard people out on the front deck trying to get into our rental. This was when I discovered that stony brook cabins gave us the incorrect directions to the incorrect cabin. This could’ve turned into a very dangerous situation for all of us. The other renters were able to access the other cabin with the same door code that they had opened our door with. I can’t believe a rental company would use the same code for basically two identical houses.
