Not managed or maintained properly. The entrance door into the apartment came off its top hinge and it had to be rehung by myself. The door out into the tiny patio does not lock -it poses a security risk. The air conditioner did not work - needs to be regassed, had to use fan instead. The WiFi router did not work and we were without internet for several days until one of our relatives came round and fixed it. The 8 year old SD TV screen blew and the host attempted to charge US for a new TV approx 5000 Rand or £250+.After several days she had this antique fixed and AIrbandB deemed it her responsibility. The kitchen cupboards were decrepit with bare MDF exposed, bits of which dropped off into your food or drink if you opened the doors over it. The taps in the bathroom sink were blocked up with debris from day 1 and were not cleared out for 2 weeks. The sofa and beds had dirt under them which looked like it had been there for weeks. We got Ecoli poisoning from the tap water.
