This is a 2-bed, adults-only, dog-friendly barn conversion overlooking a tranquil valley. It can also be booked at a discount for two people. Enjoy our 13-acre nature reserve with its paths and stream. We focus on quality, comfort and relaxation. The beds have pocket-sprung mattresses, goose feather duvets/pillows, and 400-thread-count sheets. The sofas are squidgy and perfect for curling up on, and the kitchen is well equipped. There are two steps up and down in the hall. The open-plan living space, deck and garden are private and south-facing. In contrast, the bedrooms are cosy and enveloping, each with a king-size, wrought-iron bed. The kitchen is properly equipped to make the most of the fabulous produce available locally. Our knives are sharp and there are store cupboard ingredients and herbs. The garden is surrounded by a 3-ft picket fence and has an area of lawn and BBQ.

Stayed at the middle barn over the Easter weekend. The property seems to gave been done up recently and was very clean, with a functional design, and was well stocked with amenities. The Farm itself is set over an area of about 13 acres and has a little stream nearby. The surroundings were peaceful and the rooms are very comfortable. There is a private area / lawn where it would be possible to leave your pet outside as this is gated. There are horses on site and we were fortunate to get up close to a couple of them in the barn. Overall we enjoyed the place a lot and would love to be back again!
Lovely few days break at Middle Barn, well equipped, comfy beds and really appreciated the fenced off garden for the dogs. Hoping to return in 2024, thanks Fiona.

We're in a peaceful valley outside Cusgarne village. Within half a mile is an organic farm shop and the nearest pub is a mile. There is rolling farmland to the south and fascinating mining heritage to the north, both of which can be explored on foot from the doorstep. We are 6 miles from each coast.
Cusgarne Manor is the perfect base for exploring the whole of Cornwall by car as we’re halfway between the coasts near Truro and Falmouth, and only 3 miles from the A30. Ideally you need a car or bike to get around this area.
The nearest train stations are Perranwell Station and Redruth and there are buses from Frogpool and Gwennap villages (1 mile away each). There are two pub/restaurants which are walkable (about a mile away each).
