I hate to leave a negative review about a business but I would hate anyone else to go through the stress we went through upon checking in. The host was responsive to the issues but failed to fix any requests. I followed instructions to switch on all radiators and light the fire (due to damp & cold) I went out for 2 hrs to allow heat set in but on return it was still v damp & cold. Upon closer inspection the walls & ceilings had mould: bedroom ceiling had an open trap door to attic space & cold wind was blowing into room. Beds were dirty with hair and stains. Beds were damp. It was inhabitable. My mum and I were v distressed and needed to find alternative accommodation quickly. The host didn’t send anyone to clean the beds or close up the attic. The bathroom heater wouldn’t work - again he said it was nothing he could fix. Avoid this property at all costs.

The location is beautiful and peaceful. The apartment is a bit smaller than it looks in the pictures. Although it has heating and a beautiful chimney, the apartment was too cold when we arrived. The chimney definitely warns up the living room but the electrical wall heating is not enough for the rest of the house. If you are planning to go outside during the day you will find the house cold at night. Beside that, the living room is a charming place to be with the family. Regarding the kitchen, it has everything you need. Bedrooms are small. There are some useful recommended places, restaurants and phone numbers at the house that were really helpful.
