Welcome! This listing is for the whole house - to rent 1 or 2 rooms sharing with me, please see my other listings. The house has everything you'll need for a comfortable and convenient stay and you're welcome here just as you are. ● Attic with 2 double beds & en-suite ● 2nd bedroom (double) ● Luxurious toiletries, bedding & towels ● Breakfast & range of quality drinks ● Fully equipped kitchen ● Projector ● Free on-street parking ● Games, toys, high chair, cot & stair gate ● Babysitting service This home is perfect for families and anyone visiting Sheffield for business or pleasure. ● Attic: 1 double bed, 1 futon sofa-bed, en-suite. ● First floor: small double bedroom, main bathroom. ● Ground floor: kitchen, dining room, living room. Most of the food, toiletries and cleaning products in the house are from the Zero Waste shop / organic / natural / locally sourced. Please note there's no TV but you can use the projector in the living room if you have a laptop with HDMI or thunderbolt output (for video) and mini-jack output (for sound). There's fast fibre internet so you can stream on your devices, anywhere in the house. The house may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility due to steep stairs (with handrails).

We had a great stay at Emily’s place. She was very thoughtful in advance of our visit (e.g. what kind of milk we would like) and let us check in early to accommodate our Christmas plans. The house was spotless and comfortable - we were a family of four and there was plenty of room. Two bathrooms was a bonus with teenagers! It was lovely to be provided with lots of different teas, coffee and snacks. We also loved the decor and all the plants. All in all a brilliant stay and we would definitely stay again. Thank you, Emily.
We had a brilliant stay at Emily's place as two couples with three young children between us. The location was perfect for exploring Sheffield with most of the city within easy walking distance and lots of great parks, shops, pubs and restaurants nearby. The house itself is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean but the best part is how well Emily has thought everything out. We had everything at our disposal including toys, books, travel cot and highchair for the kids, as well as loads of kitchen supplies we were able to help ourselves to, things like shampoo, shower gel, washing up liquid etc and she even provided the three different types of milk our party drank! So wonderful to be hosted by someone who takes such pride and care in making sure guests are able to feel right at home and made our trip infinitely easier. Highly recommend and hope to return!
We loved our stay here, was just perfect for our chill weekend away. The house was so cosy and homely and slept 6 easily. Just a short drive away from the beautiful peaks and a short walk to the city. Could not recommend more. Loved all the amenities (including breakfast!), and the projector was a great touch.
Emily was very helpful and the house nice and clean, within walking distanxe from grocery and restaurants. We had everything we needed and more.

The house is in The Antiques Quarter, a 10-min drive or cycle from the train station / city centre, and next to the very cool Abbeydale Road with its independent bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. I can certainly give suggestions if you want to eat, drink, or go out dancing nearby! :) For starters, I highly recommend Haggler's Corner which is a 2-min walk away. I'm especially well-placed to recommend music stuff - whether you want to see live music or if you're a musician looking for rehearsal / recording space. Bramall Lane football stadium is a 5-min walk and The Peak District is a 20-min drive or bus ride.
There's plenty for kids to do locally: Heeley City Farm, Highfield Adventure Playground, outdoor climbing boulders.. and for a rainy day, there's the Onboard Skatepark, Top Jump inflatable park, or Skate Central.
Just around the corner is the U-Mix Centre which offers various services by the hour (no membership required): gym, dance studio, football pitch, music studio, digital media centre, and meeting rooms.
There's free on-street parking and it's easy to find a space on my street. We're near various bus routes with frequent buses into town or out to The Peak District. The train station is 10 minutes by car / bike, or a half hour walk. Otherwise, order a taxi with Veezu or Uber.
