Depending on your priorities, you will need transportation to get anywhere in or around Ponta Delgada. The apartment is outside of the main city center and is not conducive to walking to any of the sights or activities.

A.H.A. went above and beyond. We had a great stay in a beautiful, clean apartment. We discovered my daughter had forgot her Switch there when they messaged us to let us know and then drove the Switch to where we were having lunch. It was a wonderful thing to do (and made my daughter very happy!). I’d recommend this host to anyone.

Places in Ponta Delgado are pricier than mainland Portugal as expected, but this place was well worth the money paid. The host was very responsive, helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend staying here!
