Our home is in a residential neighborhood of custom homes tucked up against the mountainside. Homes range between 2 and 20 acres or more. This is a quiet peaceful neighborhood, so please respect quiet hrs - no parties are allowed.
Our property is adjacent to the pole line, therefore there is no parking off the concrete driveway.

Skiing near Sandpoint
Winter & Year-Round Resort
Schweitzer Mountain is more than a ski resort. Located to the north of Sandpoint, Schweitzer Mountain Resort offers year-round. During the winter months, adventurers enjoy 2,900 snow-covered acres. There is a Nordic ski center, night skiing, cat skiing and snowmobiling. Ski lessons are available, and guests can rent equipment from several locations on the mountain.
Indoor and Outdoor Adventure
Silver Mountain, located slightly northwest of Sandpoint, offers guests 1,600 acres over two mountains. The sports school is home to certified instructors who provide children and adults lessons. There is a terrain course with rails, tables and ledges for more extreme skiers and snowboarders. There are 73 ski trails, and once off the slopes, guests can have a little inside fun at Silver Mountain’s indoor water park.
Intimate Ski Resort
Bald Mountain Ski Area, located in north central Idaho, is a smaller ski resort near Sandpoint. The 140 acres of terrain receive approximately 100 inches of snow every year. There are two lifts -- one rope and one T-bar -- as well as a day lodge and cafe. Special events on Bald Mountain include the High School Cup and Sweethearts Race. Unlike larger, more commercialized ski resorts, Bald Mountain offers skiers the opportunity to explore a more intimate outdoor environment.
Oldest Ski Resort
Lookout Pass is located near the northwest border of Idaho and Montana, to the northeast of Sandpoint, and it’s considered the original Idaho ski area --which opened in 1935. The ski resort has grown substantially over the years, and as of 2010, there are three double-chair lifts and one rope tow. There is a nationally recognized free ski school for kids, and all skiers enjoy an average snowfall of 400 inches annually.
Small Ski Resort
To the southeast of Sandpoint, the smaller ski resort of Snowhaven offers guests seven trails across 40 acres. There is a ski school and place to rent equipment, as well as a snack cafe and sun deck around a quaint day lodge. One of the newer additions at Snowhaven is a 780-foot, two-lane snow-tubing course.

Sandpoint offers rental bikes, eBikes etc. for a great daily or weekly rate. Uber is also available. Local eateries are within 3-5 miles
