if you want a resort type stay where everything is catered for you and it generic . then go somewhere else. this is traditional and beautiful. I stayed in a traditional samoanfale but there are air con units right in the most beautiful beach. there is a good small family run restaurant and bar. it's sandwich between two resorts . if you want to get something flash to eat. you will not be disappointed if you want a basic, traditional holiday.

Absolutely amazing fale right on the beach. Clean and well-constructed with a comfy bed. We loved sleeping with the sound of the waves and the view of palm trees. The managers are very helpful and offered us a second fale because one was too small for our family of four. The food at the bar is delicious, we ended up having most dinners during our stay and every meal was amazing, as was breakfast. We are looking forward to coming back one day!

we had a perfect stay at Ocean club maninoa. The location is amazing, all cabins/fales are right on the beach but still private, with some trees providing shade in front of a reef-protected lagoon. The floating rafts are perfect for kids to play on. The fales are clean and well constructed and very functional with excellent airflow. the whole resort is small and has an excellent cosy atmosphere. Food at the bar is great! Bathrooms were convenient, everything was very simple but very nice, and the hosts were just amazing. I highly recommend it!

Great communication from Alexandria during the booking process. She wasn't on site during my stay but I was really well taken care of by Francis and Ryu- they were friendly, welcoming and helpful, sorted me a mosquito coil for my fale, and ensured I knew the vegan breakfast options. I recommend you try Ryu's vegan or veggie nachos with a Samoan twist :) Will definitely return! Note on food: Two other resorts nearby where you can go for more dining options (bit fancier but still good value!)
