This place is amazing, just hands-down amazing. Nothing can beat the location of this unique stay! I will miss the view! 100% will be staying here again in future! Great start point for many adventures as it is in the middle of the islands. Strendur is a lovely quiet place with very friendly people. If you are looking for a relaxing boathouse getaway, this is your place!!! Just a tip: the bath is more of a sitting bath and is quite small if you are a tall person, but very relaxing after a big hike! Friendly and responsive host. Thank you for such a memorable and peaceful place to stay on our journey through the Faroes, we will never forget it!

This is one of my favorite AirBnBs in which I've ever stayed. The surroundings are breathtaking, the space is clean & cozy, and the host provided proactive communication & instructions to find the house & check in. The cottage is hidden away on the hillside, so make sure to follow the instructions provided via text prior to your stay. I had a calm, peaceful stay and was able to relax and enjoy the view. Highly recommend and hope I am able to return myself in the future!
