This was our first visit to the Faroe Islands and Ann’s boat house provided a charming spot to spend a few nights. It proved to be warm and cosy, even when a fierce storm struck one evening! The surrounding mountains and fjord are stunning to wake up to and the harbour provides a safe spot for some fishing right on the door stop! I would recommend this place to anybody looking for some seclusion and privacy during their stay, it would also serve as a great base for trips further afield within the surrounding islands, as it is close to several connecting tunnels. Ann was the perfect host, on hand to answer questions and provide useful advice and help when needed. 5 stars from us! Thanks Ann!

Our time on the Faroe Islands was magical. Ann's place added greatly to our experience. We felt like it was our home and we felt very comfortable. An amazingly well-equipped kitchen. It was a breeze doing all our cooking and preparing lunches to go every day. We are already planning a future return to the Islands and our getaway in Leirvik.

This was our first time visiting the Faroe Islands and my partner and I couldn’t have picked a better spot for our New Years trip. Ann and her husband Adrian were extremely helpful and attentive during our stay and were on hand to answer any questions we had regarding the accommodation and surrounding area. Their boat house was perfect for our 5 day trip, with a fully equipped kitchen as well as comfortable bed and living space. The hot tub/spa was a great bonus and we enjoyed spending time relaxing there despite the windy and wet weather! We didn’t need to worry about making new year’s plans as the view of the local town’s fireworks from the balcony was epic. A great spot if you prefer a quiet location with local towns and beauty spots a short drive away. Thank you Anna and Adrian for your hospitality!

Ana responded quickly to our reservation request on CHRISTMAS EVE after we had an emergency at our previous accommodation and had to leave. Not only was it Christmas Eve but it was also our honeymoon and we had nowhere to go! Ana and her husband Adrian were fast and accommodating when they prepped the house for us to use on a holiday, they were very friendly and communicative about the local area and left clear instructions about the house. We are so grateful to them for making our honeymoon and Christmas great!
