For starters, Philippe’s place was adorable. Very walkable to the market, the tube is a few blocks away and we felt very safe. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The downside is that this flat is on the bottom floor and the people above with child, kept us awake. I used earplugs, turned the fan on low and it fixed that. The shower was broken upon arrival, someone was suppose to come fix it, never happened. We finally figure out how to make it stop leaking but it took a couple of days turning on the faucet then the shower coming on as well. Our last night and next morning, we had no hot water or heat :/ and so the fan situation I mentioned above, didn’t get turned on which meant loud footsteps. These are all things that probably don’t happen on the regular but was unfortunate for us. I didn’t correspond too much about this because we were walking around enjoying our holiday and didn’t seem necessary. We were there for London, not to stay in a flat all day : )

From the start, Philippa was a wonderful host. She reached out immediate when I booked her flat and was very responsive any time I had a question. She even reached out after we arrived to make sure that we were settled in. The flat itself is in a fantastic location! For anyone looking to visit Portobello market, you must stay here! It’s just a short walk from all the stalls and other cute shops. We also found it to be very quiet. Last, my 3 year old was very excited about the kids dishes and cups. We would definitely stay here again!

we loved our stay at the Notting Hill flat. Very close to everything Portobello Road and the surrounding area has to offer. Just a short walk to the tube and several bus routes to easily explore London.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The apartment is just as shown the photos, is a great location, very walkable and clean & comfortable. Philippa was very proactive, organized and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!
