Tregoose Old Mill is adults only and is set in the beautiful Cornish countryside minutes from Cornwall's stunning North Coast. Tregoose is a tiny tranquil rural hamlet in a hidden valley that even many locals have never heard of and yet is only 6 miles from Newquay and 12 miles from Padstow making this the perfect base to explore the beautiful county of Cornwall with its many stunning beaches, beautiful harbour towns and peaceful rolling countryside. Guests will experience a delightful split level cottage in this old converted piggery building. There is a bright kitchen with sit up dining offering woodland views and a super cosy snug with log burner, comfy sofa and TV as well as a record player. The fully equipped kitchen with underfloor heating enables guests to enjoy time at their pace with produce available locally for those wishing to get in touch with their culinary skills. A dishwasher, fridge with freezer box, oven, hob, toaster, kettle and coffee machine are available along with crockery, glassware, cutlery, bake and cookware for use during your time with us. The luxury bedroom is situated off the kitchen in a new extension offering views into the forest. An en suite shower room with rain fall shower head, toiletries, heated towel rail, natural daylight and guests will enjoy oversized fluffy towels and bath robes. Your bedroom has three windows for plenty of daylight affording views over the grounds and gardens. A large private seating area, with garden and outdoor lighting, enables guests to relax and enjoy this secluded sun trap. The Spa Garden offers a sauna, outdoor cold shower and wood fired hot tub. Sufficient wood is provided for a hot tub experience and a starter pack of wood is also provided for the log burner. Additional wood can be purchased locally or from the hosts. The Pigsty can accommodate a maximum of two adults. Children and pets are strictly not allowed.

Having purchased The Old Mill at Tregoose in 2017 I'm very proud that our first holiday cottage, the Hideaway has been fully restored, refurbished and ready to welcome guests who are looking for accommodation to enjoy the fabulous county of Cornwall. Some information about The Hideaway. With many original features the Hideaway has been a joy to see come to life and it will be great to welcome guests to be part of the Mill's history. The Hideaway is located in the Old Mill House over the upper two floors with its own private entrance. Dating back to 1750 and fully refurbished in spring 2018 the Hideaway offers luxury country coastal living for those visiting Cornwall. Guests will experience upside down living entering into the lounge, kitchen and dining area with its vaulted ceilings with exposed wooden beams. Two sky lights are in addition to two other lower windows and the Hideaway has its own heating controls. The fully equipped kitchen enables guests to enjoy your time at your pace with produce available locally for those wishing to get in touch with their culinary skills. A dishwasher, fridge freezer, wine fridge, oven, hob, toaster, kettle and coffee machine can be found, additionally, all crockery, glassware, cutlery, bake and cookware are all available for use during your time with us. The living area has a comfy sofa with Cornish tartan cushions, an over sized footstool for you to stretch out and relax whilst enjoying the look and sound of your wood burning stove. A small staircase takes you down to your large bedroom with super king size bed with bedding that will invite you to have a longer lie in. A raised bath in your bedroom is further complimented with an en suite shower room with heated towel rail, natural daylight, waffle bathrobes and guests will enjoy over-sized fluffy towels. Your bedroom has three windows for plenty of day light affording views over the grounds and gardens. A private seating area within our garden enables you to relax and guests are welcome to explore our six acres of river fronted grounds including our orchard. An external dining area is available for you should you wish to enjoy the peace and quiet and reflect or plan the day. On site car parking is available which includes lighting for when arriving back after a day out. I have over thirty years’ experience in the hotel industry and having holidayed for many years in Cornwall I decided to move here and do what I love best.
