A house in the middle of a jungle with a beautiful swimming pond that has fish and turtles. Was beautiful. We stayed 2 nights and could of relaxed into a week atleast. The people who live out there want to be away from the world and love their home. It is certainly a place to respect. If you want tech down time you can, but if you have to give in a quick stroll down the road and you can pick up service. I highly recommend detoxing though. Thank you for quick responses to our questions and generosity.

Des' place was so peaceful and in a really nice spot. Really well equipped. We were there over a particularly rainy 2 days during the wet season but Des had recommendations for places to eat and do. plenty of games and DVDs and books. tip- bring everything you may need for food as during the wet season it can put water over the roads so have extra just in case you get stuck.

A little slice of paradise! My boys loved playing in the river and the sunrise is stunning on the balcony. Appreciated Des touching base to ensure everything was going well and giving us some local tips.

It's a great spot in the world. The house is basically in the middle of everything, which made it easy to get around and then home again. The highlight of the stay is the creek, which you get to through the driveway. I could spend hours in there, with the water flowing past you and around the rocks! My biggest hang up would be the value for money. What you pay a night, you expect a lot more. - No wifi. I feel the owner should invest in Starlink. - Zero reception. I see a few reviews where the phone is down. That's still the case. - No aircon. There is a solar/battery dependency, but surely 1 system in the living space... - No wardrobes - BBQ not as advertised - Only a 32" TV - No TV reception - Was asked not to use the washing machine, hair dryer or iron, due to power use And a small tip... be nice to the neighbour, because her creek section is amazing!

Loved our stay. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings during our stay. We were 6 adults, 2 kids and 2 toddlers and the space was just enough for us. Des was great at communicating and sharing info ahead of time and keeping in touch. Would 100% stay here again.
