Pros - extremely clean and as described. Comfortable beds, clean towels etc and plenty of space for 4. There are locks on every internal door plus a security guard at the entrance so no concerns about safety. The owner has obviously also read previous reviews and there are now blinds at the bedroom windows although they are fiddly to open but better than nothing! Cons - windows can’t be fully opened so rooms get very hot. Furniture and furnishings are very minimalist- sofa only holds three people and there were four of us! No wardrobes or drawers to put clothes in so we lived out of our suitcase but as we were only there for two nights it didn’t matter. Lightbulbs either missing or broken in a couple of the overhead lights. Not a lot of cooking equipment. The area is a bit run down but so is most of Bedford - we didn’t feel unsafe and it wasn’t noisy as previous reviewers have described. We only stayed two nights which was long enough. It’s fine for an overnight stay or short trip.

We have used Viviane's place to base engineers working locally. We found it clean, comfy and well appointed. We would use again and recommend to others.

Lovely clean apartment, great for a short stay, parking not clear, some water marks where there has been water damage but didn’t effect overall stay, beds comfy and bathrooms nice, nice big apartment once inside. Personal preference but didn’t really like the area but couldn’t fault the flat.

Unfortunately this was not a good place to stay for numerous reasons. The main issue was there were no curtains or blinds in either bedroom which meant sleeping very badly as soon as the sun came up, zero privacy to change and sleep with a part of a neighbouring property able to see in through the window at all times. In one of the bedrooms there were instructions not to open the window which meant the room was extremely hot. There was an open hole in the wall of the living room with electrics which did not look very safe. There is a large damp problem throughout the flat which meant it smelled bad. There was no hand soap in the bathroom or kitchen. There was only a very small bin in the kitchen not suitable for a stay of longer than one night. Lack of kitchen equipment with which to cook a meal including blunt knives. Due to lack of sound proofing you can hear a lot of noise from neighbouring apartments. The general area did not feel safe. Would not recommend.

Communication was great and they were flexible with check in time which I really appreciated. The flat was really modern and clean and easy to connect to the wifi. However there were a few key things missing. There were no blinds or curtains in either of the bedrooms which meant none of us slept very well and had to get changed in the bathroom. There was only one tiny bin in the kitchen, none in the bathrooms or living area and therefore nowhere to recycle. There was also no chopping board or grater which made preparing meals hard and no tea towel. There was also no soap or handwash at any of the sinks. There was also no local information which is always handy. It was such a shame because the space is lovely. With these small alterations I think this listing would be great.
